Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026. This policy explains what Toolovi (toolovi.com) does and does not collect. It is written to match how the site actually works.
The short version
Your files and text stay on your device. The tools run in your browser. We do not receive, store or see the content you work with.
What never leaves your device
Images, PDFs, text, numbers, drawn signatures, invoice details and anything else you enter into a tool are processed locally by your browser. They are not uploaded to Toolovi or to any third party. You can verify this with your browser's network inspector: tool pages make no requests containing your content.
What is stored in your browser
Some tools remember your last input so you can continue later, for example the invoice generator and your language choice. This is saved in your browser's local storage on your device only. We cannot read it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
What our hosting provider sees
Toolovi is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy. We see only aggregated statistics such as page views per country.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics and, in future, Google Analytics) to understand which tools are used and where visitors come from. These measure page views and tool usage events such as “converter used”. They never include the content you entered. This section will be updated when a specific analytics service is enabled.
Advertising
Toolovi is funded by display advertising. When ads are enabled they are served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure them, subject to Google's policies and your consent choices where required by law. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be shown a consent dialog before any advertising cookies are set. Ads are never personalised using the content of the tools, because that content never reaches us or Google.
Cookies
Toolovi itself sets no cookies. Advertising and analytics providers may set cookies as described above.
Children
Toolovi is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For data held by Cloudflare or Google, please refer to their privacy pages. If you believe we have collected something we should not have, contact us and we will investigate.
Changes
If how the site works changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
