# Spin the wheel

Random name picker. Paste names or options, spin, get a fair winner. Works for classrooms, giveaways, chores and dinner decisions.

Use it: https://toolovi.com/en/tools/spin-the-wheel
Runs in the browser. Nothing is uploaded. Free, no account.

## How it works

Type one entry per line, then tap Spin or the wheel itself. The wheel slows down and stops on a random entry. Tick “Remove winner” to run a draw where each name can only win once.

The pick uses the browser's random number generator, so each entry has the same chance every spin. The animation is only for show; the result is decided the moment you press Spin.

## Questions

### Is the wheel truly random?

Yes. The winner is chosen with the browser's random generator before the animation starts. Each entry has an equal probability.

### How many entries can I add?

There is no hard limit. Labels become small beyond about 40 entries, but the draw still works.

### Can I use duplicate names to weight the odds?

Yes. Add a name twice and it has twice the chance.
