## How it works

Draw: sign in the box with your finger, stylus or mouse, then Download PNG. Type: enter your name, pick a style and download.

The PNG has a transparent background so it sits cleanly on PDFs, Word documents and email footers. For legally binding e-signatures use a dedicated signing service; this tool creates the image only.

## Questions

### Is my signature stored anywhere?

No. It is drawn and exported inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

### Which is better, drawn or typed?

Drawn looks like your real signature. Typed is quicker and consistent across documents. Either is fine for informal use.

### What size is the image?

Drawn signatures export at your screen resolution. Typed signatures export at 1200 × 400 pixels.
