## How it works

Pick two dates. The result shows total days, the breakdown in years, months and days, weeks, weekdays and hours. Tick “Include the end day” when both ends count, as with hotel nights versus days off.

Dates in either order work; the tool swaps them for you.

### Does it count the end date?

By default no, which is how most deadlines and ages are measured. Tick the box to include it.

### Are public holidays excluded from weekdays?

No. Weekdays simply exclude Saturdays and Sundays.
